Battery Mounts: The SM-BMR2 external battery mount is for use on Di2-specific frames with either a chainstay or down tube mounting location. If you are using the internal battery, no mount is required. Junctions: There are two junctions required for your Di2 build ? A and B. Junction A is located near your handlebars and is available in three options: a standard roadharness (SM-EW67-A-E ? for use on road bikes only), a 3-port junction (for use with a left and right shifter only ? no auxiliary shifters), and a 5-port junction (for use with a left and right shifter plus satellite shifters). We recommend the 5-port for the most versatility because it will allow you to add shifting on your brake levers if you have a tri bike and the addition of a climbing switch or sprinter switches for your road bike. Junction B (SM-JC41) is for internal mounting and is located near the bottom bracket area. If you require an external Di2 retrofit, please contact us. E-Tube Wires: Your Di2 build will require 4 E-Tube wires of various lengths. We have compiled a chart to serve as a guide to make sure you have all of the correct cable lengths based upon your frame size. These lengths are an approximation of what you need.
